Crystal Lake Resort

This resort was perfect for a little Up North pit stop. We were scheduled for 2 nights but when we had an issue at our Air BNB we were able to get in for a 3rd! The owner was amazingly sweet & accommodating! Kelly at the front desk & the 2 gals in house keeping were super friendly too! Great location & loved the private area by on the lake, very peaceful! My only suggestion would be to get better pillows. The pillows were too thin & not comfortable. Sleeping in a foreign bed is hard enough but hotel pillows always make a huge difference.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were comfy and clean. Well stocked with the things you would expect. Microwave, Kurig, small refrigerator, towels and toiletries. Large TV. Beds were medium firm and comfortable. Pretty view of the lake.

We booked a 1 night stay here and had a wonderful experience. Service was wonderful. We appreciate receiving champagne and a nice card for our honeymoon. Beach access is just steps away. Beautiful sunsets. Crystal lake is clear and beautiful. Definitely recommend if you need to stay somewhere in northern Michigan. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality.

If you are looking for the perfect place for a family getaway this is the place to be. We have stayed in both the cabins and rooms and absolutely loved both. We have small kids and love that we don’t have to cross a busy road to get to the lake. The owners are amazing and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place.

Yes, the views of Crystal Lake are amazing! Our king room looked right to the lake. The room was clean, but small. Because of the time of year, the room stayed humid, even with the air/fan going constantly. It was comfortable temperature-wise, though. The bed was very comfortable, with good pillows and nice linens. As others have mentioned, it seemed a bit expensive for the quality of the room. I was very grateful when my husband got sick, and we had to go home a day early. They refunded my last night's room cost without question.

This place is a gem! Very comfortable and cozy place on the lake, with its own sandy beach and swimming area. Great sunset views. Outstanding location for biking into Beulah and reaching bike trails that lead to Frankfort and points east. Close to golf courses and a marina for boat rentals for cruising and fishing.

Staff very friendly and stop by daily in the early afternoon to check if you need anything (towels toiletries ECT). Room was a bit small but honestly in much better condition than any mid-grade hotels we've been to. Bed very comfortable, shower had very strong water pressure. There is a well kept private beach on the lake with a good view. Parking lot is a bit tight to get parked into if you have a truck but do able. Free wifi with good connection.

this place was awesome - one of the more affordable places around and has its own private beach! beds were fairly comfy, the rooms had a microwave, keruig & mini fridge, and we got a room with a view and it did not disappoint! rooms were clean and staff was kind and accommodating. they still have folks clean rooms daily if you want that - had to request to not have them clean our room since we were just there a couple of nights (and my husband makes the bed when he gets up each morning). would highly recommend!
